This is a special donation. Your tax-deductible
contribution allows you to adopt an entire kilometer of the
Great Baikal Trail in one of the national parks located on
the pristine shores of Lake Baikal. The GBT staff and
volunteers will hand-carve a trail marker that will
permanently display “Adopted by _”, with the name of the
individual, family, or business Benefactor. You can
also dedicate your kilometer to someone you love, and we
will inscribe “In honor of,” “In memory of” or your
preferred words of dedication on the marker.
You will
receive a 16”×20” framed photograph of your trail marker and a
personalized brochure with a map showing the location of your
adopted kilometer and photographs of beautiful vistas along the
adopted trail (you might also enjoy a picture of the GBT
craftsmen who carved your trail marker!). Your name and the
adopted kilometer will be recognized on the GBT website and in
our newsletter “Vestnik.”
